The paper co-authored by Xun Shao, titled “Enhancing UAV Communications in Disasters: Integrating ESFM and MAPPO for Superior Performance,” has been published in Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers.

December 4, 2024
Xun Shao served as the Workshop Chair at IEEE UIC 2024 and received the IEEE Distinguished Leadership Award.
He also presented multiple research works (MAPPO, CPIMAC, Federated Learning Framework, etc.) at the IEEE Smart World Congress 2024.
At the same conference, the paper “CPIMAC: MEC-Assisted Message Dissemination Based on Traffic Prediction at Intersections” received the IEEE Outstanding Paper Award.

The research project led by Xun Shao, “Dynamic Optimization of Microgrid Networks by Integrating Deep Reinforcement Learning and Game Theory,” has been selected for funding by the Telecom Advanced Technology Research Support Center.
On the same day, another project led by Xun Shao, “Integrated Optimization of PV Output and DSM Management in Home Microgrids,” was funded by the Naito Science & Engineering Foundation.

On the same day, the paper co-authored by Xun Shao, titled “Intelligent Edge CDN with Smart Contract-Aided Local IoT Sharing,” was published in Springer High-Confidence Computing.
